We at Print Phase want to make running a SBE decoration business as turn-key as possible. So, we have expanded our product line to help schools set up their workspace to work as efficiently as possible.
The first item that your SBE might want to consider purchasing is a mobile cart to use for heat pressing. A high quality, hard plastic, three shelf utility / heat press cart for $150.00 with shipping included is available to you. The cart has four heavy duty caster wheels, two with brakes. The other two wheels can easily be secured by wedging a door stop between the cart and the wheel. The cart ships unassembled and takes around 15 minutes to put together. This cart is great because of how light and sturdy it is. It can be used for things other than a heat press, and the middle shelf allows for nice storage and organization.
The next item that your SBE might want to consider is a six tier adjustable wire rack for $100.00. This six tier rack makes organizing inventory much easier. With five or more shelves, you can easily sort products by size and be able to take quick visual inventory. The rack comes unassembled and takes around 20 minutes to put together, with a lot of freedom of how to space the shelves. Like the utility cart, this rack has many uses and will last a long time.
The next item that your SBE might want to consider purchasing is Corel Draw Graphic Design software, which we sell for $100.00. While we offer the software for purchase, we recommend that you buy the student version directly through the Corel’s website, coreldraw.com. CorelDraw is an easy-to-use, vector-based design software program that makes creating print-ready designs very easy. Corel is a great entry-level design software that every decoration shop should utilize.
The next product that your SBE might want to consider purchasing is one of our white number and letter vinyl kits. Our pre-cut vinyl letters and numbers are great for printing custom names and numbers onto t-shirts and many other products. Our two-inch white letter kit includes 380 characters and costs $35.00, while our eight-inch white number kit includes 170 characters and is $70.00. Each kit comes with a plastic tray to keep the characters organized. The vinyl can be applied at the same press settings as our opaque hot peel transfers and looks and feels just like screen printing. The kits are available in a wide variety of colors, fonts, and sizes.
The last set of items that we think you should know about are our Fusion heat press platens. The Fusion heat press that we sell has the ability to remove the bottom platen and replace it with a different size, making it easier to print certain products. These platens allow you to create a raised print surface without having to use a heat press pillow. The 6x20 platen is great for printing sleeves, the 6x10 is great for printing bags & hooded sweatshirts, and the 4x4 is great for printing tags or small designs. The platens are fairly expensive, ranging in price from $100.00 to $275.00 each, but they can make printing difficult locations and certain products much easier.
